The Kyle Public Library is officially open with fresh paint, brand-new carpet, and updated public computers.
During the 14-day closure, contractors completed a full refresh of the library’s interior. All interior walls were repainted, replacing the yellow and brown shades with bright and airy blues and whites. New carpet was installed throughout the building, and public computers and seating were also upgraded to ensure the library can continue meeting the needs of residents for years to come.
This is the first refresh the Kyle Public Library has undergone since opening in 2012. While interior work was being done, the Kyle Mobile Library was stationed in the back parking lot of the building on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., offering a rotating selection of materials to check out, along with continued access to library card services.
Library programs will resume on Monday, February 2. From activities for kids to opportunities for teens and adults, there’s something for everyone this winter and spring.
