That’s a wrap! The 2025 Kyle Summer Camp finished its nine-week season after giving hundreds of local kids memories to last a lifetime.
Hosted by the Kyle Parks and Recreation Department, the camp served more than 900 children from kindergarten through 9th grade. Weekly themes and hands-on activities kept campers active and engaged, while field trips offered new adventures.
Campers explored Texas history at the Alamo, toured Natural Bridge Caverns, and cooled off at Rockin’ River Waterpark, among other exciting destinations. On-site fun included arts and crafts, sports, games, and team-building activities.

For families, the program provided an enriching yet affordable option for summer care.
“We are proud to offer a summer camp that’s more than just a place to spend the summer. It’s a place where kids can grow and have fun, and families can know their children are in good hands,” said Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation Aimee Garcia. “Which is why we are excited about the recently finalized Parks and Open Spaces Master Plan, which provides a clear roadmap to expand and improve key youth programs like Kyle Summer Camp.”

The camp emphasized safety, teamwork, and inclusion, giving children a space to learn, play, and grow together.
Registration for next summer’s camp is expected to open in early 2026. Parents and guardians can learn more at CityofKyle.com/SummerCamp. Until then, the memories made this year will continue to bring smiles across the community.
