School’s out and the Library is so in this summer at the Kyle Public Library. From hands-on activities and storytimes to our Summer Reading Challenge and special events, there is something for all ages to explore all summer long.
The 45-day Summer Reading Challenge encourages readers of all ages to pick up a reading log from the library and mark off each day they read throughout the summer. Eligible participants who complete all 45 days will be entered for a chance to win a variety of prizes, including Kindles, Beats headphones, science experiment kits, and more.
This year’s theme, “Dig into Reading: A Summer of Discovery at KPL,” takes participants on a journey through time with weekly programs inspired by dinosaurs, ancient oceans, the Ice Age, early civilizations, and royalty.
“We wanted to create a summer filled with curiosity, creativity, and exploration,” Library Director Leslie Scott said. “Every week gives families a chance to learn something new while making memories together at the library.”
