The City of Kyle’s Communications Team is making headlines of its own — bringing home 14 awards from the 2025 Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (TATOA) Conference.
Each year, TATOA recognizes the best in local government communications from across Texas, celebrating creativity, storytelling, and innovative public service messaging. Competing against cities big and small, Kyle’s team stood out for its engaging videos, clever campaigns, and community-focused content.
One of the biggest wins of the night was the “Best Overall” award for cities with video budgets under $300,000. This honor doesn’t go to a single video — it recognizes a full year of outstanding work and consistent excellence in storytelling, production, and community connection.
“Winning Best Overall is a huge accomplishment for our team,” said Kyle Film and Audio Manager Grant Bowling. “It’s an award that recognizes not just one great project, but consistent quality and creativity across all of our video and social media efforts throughout the year. We’re proud to represent Kyle on the statewide stage.”
